What is HandheldRank?
HandheldRank is a hobbyist site run by me, Retro Phil. The idea is simple: there are already great sites out there that catalogue every handheld ever made, and I’m not trying to compete with those. This is more of an editorial take on the current landscape. The handhelds I cover are ones I’d actually recommend, and I want to equip readers with the ability to make their own choices in their handheld journey.

The site does contain affiliate links, and I want to be upfront about that. If you buy something through one of my links, I get a small cut, it doesn’t cost you anything extra, and it helps keep the lights on. That’s the extent of it. No company tells me what to write, what to rank, or what to say. If you ever feel like something smells off, my contact page is right there.
What is your all time favourite handheld console?
Depends how you ask. Most hours logged? Probably the PSP. Best library? Hard to argue against the Nintendo DS. But the one I’ve loved the most, without much hesitation, is the PS Vita. Make of that what you will.
