The Retroid Pocket Duo is coming. Ever since dual screen handhelds started taking off last year in 2025 people have been eagerly awaiting a dual screen Retroid device. After months of rumours and whispering an official announcement in Retroid’s discord has come. While details are sparse beyond the device’s name and its dual screens there has been much speculation about it.
The Retroid Pocket Duo is likely going to be the second device, after the Pocket Nova, to feature the custom made 4:3 OLED screen that the community has dubbed the “mortgage screen”. And in line with Retroid’s segmentation strategy it is very likely the company is aiming for a price point slightly below that of the AYN Thor.
